Japanese “Confection” (like yokan)
















Ingredients:
All purpose flour, 1 cup
Whole wheat flour, 1 cup
Water, 3 cup
Brown Sugar, 1 cups
Walnuts, 1 cup
Sweetened red bean paste (anko), 1 package १6 oz or 500g


Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix them in the machine or by hand thoroughly.
Use two microwave safe containers. Line each container with sarun wrap so the ingredients won’t stick to the sides. Pour half of the mixed ingredients. Microwave each container for 4 or 4 and half minutes.
Let each container cool for at least 10 minutes Then place in the refrigerator to chill them.
Cut in pieces and serve them.
